Interactive Techniques for Yoga Teachers to Create Solid Communities
In this 4 workshop series for Yoga Teachers, you will learn advanced training techniques and methodology to use interactive activities in yoga classes and workshops. You’ll discover alternative ways to step away from the front of the room and step into a community where your students feel a deeper connection to you, other students, and their yoga class. You’ll use these methods to build community around your classes and create an atmosphere where students feel they belong in a place they want to come regularly.
Taught by Aruna Santokh Kathy Humphrys who has been teaching this weekly class for over 15 years. Come see how to build community that matters, with students that are connected to each other, the teachings of yoga, and you as the teacher. This class includes a 90 minute kundalini yoga class where you will see these community building techniques in action.
Four Week Series on Thursday’s from 5:30 – 8 pm in the Annex, Toronto:
- Feb. 1/18 – Week 1: Interactive Warm Up Activities to Build Community
